Tottenham vs Burnley Prediction (11.05.2024)

We’re in the endgame now, ladies and gentlemen. The Premier League season is entering the final furlong with just a handful of games remaining for clubs up and down English football’s top tier. Whether it be the title race, the relegation battle or anything in between, there’s still a lot left to be determined. Today, we’ll be taking a look at the upcoming clash between Tottenham Hotspur and Burnley.

Big Ange has done some great things for Tottenham Hotspur when it comes to the overall quality of their football, but results wise, the success just hasn’t been there. Their last hope is to try and get into a Champions League spot but with just a few games remaining, it’s looking unlikely. Either way, the summer transfer window is going to be massive for Spurs.

In the blink of an eye, Spurs found themselves 4-0 down on the road against Liverpool last Sunday. They did manage to bring it back to 4-2 in order to get some kind of credibility back, but there are far more questions than answers right now at the club.

Vincent Kompany’s men have been fighting hard all season long but now, it’s do or die. They need to dig as deep as they possibly can in the weeks that lie ahead, and they also need to hope for a few favours from elsewhere. The Clarets have quality in their ranks but beyond that, what’s really going to see them through is their grit and determination - as well as their incredible fanbase.

Burnley started their home game with Newcastle pretty well last weekend, but it quickly got away from them - and we mean quickly. They were left stunned as the Magpies raced out to a comfortable lead, with the final result being 4-1 to Eddie Howe’s men.

Tottenham fans aren’t feeling particularly optimistic right now but at the very least, they’ll want to end the season on something resembling a high note - whereas for Burnley, they know that a win is an absolute must. Unfortunately for them, we don’t think they’ll get it, as we’re predicting a draw.
