Valladolid occupies only 16th place and at this stage seems far from a return to La Liga. Overall, the club is not in a particularly good period lately. However, it is ahead of its current opponent and is unbeaten in the last three rounds. It has two victories so far, both achieved at home, winning two of its three home games to date.

The season is going quite poorly for Albacete, which is firmly in last place in the table. Its decline continues after just one point and seven losses from the first eight rounds. It has no clean sheets and managed a 1:1 draw away at Granada, but after that, it returned to losses and is currently on a three-match losing streak.

Valladolid shows signs of improvement. Its two victories so far were achieved at home. At the same time, Albacete continues to sink, and with its performances so far, I wouldn't be surprised if it suffers another loss now.

Auda is already aware of its fate this season, as it cannot finish either higher or lower than third place. Next up is a visit from Liepaja.

Liepaja is in 4th place, a huge distance from Auda, but still one of the decent teams in Latvia, particularly at home, capable of achieving a strong result or two. This can be proven here. Auda is indeed in good form, but is also playing a bit for health, having secured its international quota. I think the hosts have their chances to take a point or 3, and I wouldn't be surprised to witness quite an attractive match.

Bet on 1X and over 3.5 goals

I believe that the goals will not be too few.

PAOK has four wins after the first five rounds. This includes one loss, which came away from home against the leader Panathinaikos. At home, PAOK has performed well so far. In their two home matches of the championship, they won without conceding a goal – 2:0 against city rivals Aris and 4:0 against Levadiakos.

Kalamata has returned to the top flight after 25 years of absence. They managed to gather four points after the first five rounds, recording one win at home. In their two away matches so far, they drew 1:1 with Atromitos, while their other away match was a 0:2 loss to Panetolikos. Another loss now seems quite likely.

PAOK performs strongly on their home ground, but not only for that reason are they serious favorites for another home victory against newcomer Kalamata. There are every indications that the success will be by more than one goal difference and a clean sheet for the hosts.

Vaasa has completely lost steam recently in Finland and is more likely to play out the season from here on. Next up is a home game against Gnistan.

The guests still have a chance for an international spot

Gnistan seems unlikely to finish below 4th place, and here they will be looking for a victory to continue their pursuit of even a top 3 finish. Of course, the chances for such a ranking are not great, but the guests are having an exceptional season for their capabilities and will fight until the end for their chance. After a 0:6 defeat against HIK a few days ago, I have little doubt that Vaasa will manage to regroup to win, and they may not even be able to take any points here.

Bet on over 2.5 goals and X2

I give a clear advantage to Gnistan.

HIK Helsinki managed to take a decisive victory of 6:0 a few days ago, and now has a chance to catch up with the second-placed team, KuPS Kuopio, with a win against Oulu.

The hosts deceived the champion

Oulu achieved a shocking victory against KuPS a few days ago as guests, marking their first success in the playoff phase. It doesn't seem particularly likely that there will be many more such victories, as HIK is favored in this match as well. However, it should be mentioned that the guests from Helsinki are not exactly a terrifying force, and the success with 6:0 against Vaasa is more of an exception. Again, it seems to me that the match will not be particularly easy for the guests. Still, they have a huge chance to catch up with KuPS in second place with a win.

I am giving a seemingly secured prediction.

I think that Atalanta's team is unlikely to be satisfied with their performance so far, having lost three of their five matches played in the new season. However, they now face a home game against the bottom-ranked team, Venezia, which has yet to earn a single point, losing all five of their previous matches. Additionally, Venezia has already conceded quite a few goals, allowing at least two goals in each match.

Atalanta started the new season successfully, winning their first two league matches, but then came a series of tough opponents like Roma, Cagliari, and Juventus. Against them, Atalanta was not far from earning something, but ultimately lost all three matches. Now, however, the team is at home again, and I definitely consider them the favorites for the win.

I believe that Atalanta will secure the three points and will try to start putting pressure on the opponent right from the first minutes. Therefore, I expect them to even lead in the score by halftime.

The teams of KFUM Oslo and Vålerenga are very close to each other in the middle of the standings in Norway. However, in their upcoming clash, I would give the advantage to the hosts, KFUM Oslo, who have managed to win their last three matches and look to be in good form.

Definitely, the same cannot be said for Vålerenga, who have not been able to secure a victory for a full seven consecutive matches. The clashes between these two teams in recent years have looked quite evenly matched.

Given the better current form of KFUM Oslo and the home advantage, I believe the team will not allow themselves to be defeated. My prediction is for a double chance 1X in favor of the hosts, and we will likely see a low-scoring match.

The champion of Denmark, Aarhus, surprisingly is the only team without a win after the first nine rounds of the new season. There is also not a single clean sheet. In three of their four home games, they had goal draws, while in the other, they lost 0:2 to Midtjylland. Seven of their nine matches had goals on both sides. All of this places them in second-to-last place at this stage.

SønderjyskE, however, is last, despite having one win so far. This was achieved in the last round when they hosted Randers, winning 4:2. They also have one clean sheet since the start of the season, unlike Aarhus. As guests, they still do not have one, and from four visits, they have only earned one point, three of which were with goals on both sides.

A battle at the bottom, unexpectedly involving the champion Aarhus. They will be looking for their first win, but even if they achieve it, I don't think it will come easily given their previous performances. Also, based on those performances, it seems possible that we will see at least one goal from both teams.

Ludogorets begins its second era under the leadership of Ivan Yovchevich, who will try to win a second title at the helm of the Razgrad team. His second debut is against Arda Kardzhali in Razgrad.

The guests remain a tough opponent

Arda should not be written off, even though inconsistency is a frequent characteristic of Alexander Tunchev's team. Eyupspor suffered a heavy defeat against the Fenerbahçe team just before the international break. Let's see if the result will be any different when hosting Göztepe.

Both are at the bottom of the Super League

So far, the seasons for both teams are not going as planned, with Eyupspor having only one win, while Göztepe still doesn't have any. It looks like a fairly even match overall. The guests are favorites due to their higher individual class, but so far, Muri Stoilov has not managed to get his team to play effectively enough to finish matches with a win. It is not easy to achieve the first success of a campaign away from home, especially after an international break, but the opponent seems vulnerable at the moment.

So far this season, Torino and Udinese have exactly the same record of four points from their five matches. Now a clash between them is upcoming. Last season, Udinese managed to win against Torino twice, but overall this rivalry has been quite balanced in recent years and is usually low-scoring, with five of the last seven encounters between the two teams finishing with under 2.5 goals.

So far this season, it cannot be said that the two teams are scoring particularly much. Udinese occasionally has high-scoring matches, but it often happens that the team's attack is neutralized and sometimes struggles to reach the opponent's goal. This perhaps applies even more to Torino, who rarely score more than one goal in their matches.

I expect the match to be evenly matched, and that is exactly what makes me consider the option for under 2.5 goals in the match even more likely. Such a development is often observed in direct encounters between the two teams, so I would lean towards this prediction.

Botafogo is struggling seriously in Brazil and needs to be careful not to get involved in the relegation battle in the final rounds of the championship. Next up is a visit to Coritiba.

The hosts also have problems

Coritiba has only one point from their last 4 matches, during which they conceded 14 goals and suffered three defeats. They haven't won either of their two home matches, although one ended in a spectacular 3:3 draw against Atletico Paranaense. Botafogo is also not shining, with two consecutive losses and needs to find some breakthrough here. The "Blacks" are far from their usual level, and every point will be precious at this stage.

A victory here could tie the events to an absolute limit. Now it will be the match that will show whether the champions are ready to defend their title. A very difficult match to predict, which honestly could end in any way.

The "Shamrocks" have a psychological advantage after two consecutive victories against this opponent. Let's see if this will help in the most important moment.

Lanús and Vélez are in quite good form in their recent matches in Argentina, and on Monday it's time for them to face each other in an intriguing match.

Will there be goals?

Vélez has confidence in front of goal, as both teams are in excellent positions to qualify for the playoff phase of the second part of the Liga Profesional. It's unlikely that anyone will want to back down with only 3 rounds left after the current one. I would imagine that a draw would be somewhat satisfactory for both, and an exchange of goals doesn't seem like an excluded option to me. Of course, in this league, it's completely realistic to see a goalless match - predicting these patterns is more like Russian roulette.
