Oțelul reinforced the good impressions from the end of last season, after recently starting the new campaign in the Romanian championship with a prestigious victory over Cluj. Now the team is facing its first away match of the season, which will be against UTA Arad.

Oțelul enters the match with added confidence, having not lost in their last three encounters against UTA Arad, winning two of them. The hosts also finished last season with good results, but the start of the new campaign was disappointing with a heavy 0:4 loss to Universitatea Craiova. The guests conceded 8 goals in two visits

Definitely, Hegelman, in turn, is not enjoying their performances lately, and I also have doubts whether they will improve their results. Yes, the hosts are in very poor condition and are suffering loss after loss, but perhaps at some point this will change. It is no coincidence that the odds are quite even, considering that both are not in good temporary form. Perhaps in such moments, the home advantage could prove to be significant.

I give a double chance in favor of Šiauliai.

Västerås is in eighth place, performing decently so far. After a break of three matches, they recorded two victories and one draw. However, four of their five wins this season were achieved as guests. Still, they won their last home match 2-0 against Degerfors, and now they are hosting another team from the relegation zone.

Jörgrite continues to occupy the second to last position in the standings. They earned four points from their last two matches, but those were at home. As guests, however, they need to tighten up. They won their first away match of the season, but since then, they have been on a streak of five consecutive away losses, all by at least two goals difference, and they have only scored once in those matches.

Västerås is performing better than both teams, and Jörgrite is clearly still experiencing problems with their away games, so I would choose a victory for the hosts here.

The new season in the Danish championship starts with an interesting match between Viborg and Odense. The history of direct encounters between the two teams shows that they almost always provide a spectacle, with each of their last seven meetings ending with over 2.5 goals, and in the last six, both teams consistently scored.

The summer preparation left more questions around Odense, who lost their last two friendly matches, and that with crushing results. An additional challenge for the guests will be the visit at the start of the season. Viborg also did not impress much in their friendly matches, which suggests a relatively even clash, but one thing seems completely reasonable and that is the expectations for goals.

"The Whites" are likely to be cautious again

Ratko Dostanic's team is unlikely to significantly change their approach against CSKA at home, even though the opponent here is of a lower class. On the other hand, away games were a big problem for Slavia last season, so the Serbian coach will want the start in Kardzhali to be as safe as possible. Arda showed both good and not-so-good things against Septemvri in the first round, and there is also a process of renewal and integration of new players underway with Alexander Tunchev's team.

Despite a strong performance in the friendly matches during the summer preparation, Argeș Pitești did not start the new season in the Romanian championship in the best way. The team lost 0:2 to FCSB in the first round and is now looking for its first points against Petrolul Ploiești.

The guests opened the season with a narrow victory against Dinamo Bucharest, leaving good impressions with their defensive play. Moreover, Petrolul has a significant advantage in the last direct encounters between the two teams, having won each of the last three matches against Argeș Pitești. This series, along with a more stable performance at the start of the season, gives reason to expect another strong match from the guests.

Although playing away from home, Petrolul appears to be the more stable of the two teams at this moment. I expect the guests to find a way to avoid defeat again, so my prediction is for a double chance X2.

Due De Mayo finished the first part of the championship in Paraguay well and enters the second part with the desire for more victories. The first test this Friday is against Rubio Nu.

The newcomer with some difficulties

Rubio Nu is not completely defenseless and has some chance of earning points in the elite of Paraguayan football, but problems often arise during away games, as expected.
