That win came at the weekend when they went away from home and won 3-1 at AIK, a really impressive result they will be looking to build on here. But before that, not as impressive, two defeats in a row, a 3-0 loss at home to Hacken and a 2-0 loss away to Elfsborg.
Goteborg Form GuideJust two wins from their first eight games, it hasn't been a great start to the new season for Goteborg. They've not looked a good side really, truth be told, and we are going to need to see some improvement from them over the coming weeks. There is still time of course, but they come here with three defeats in their last four games.
The most recent of those came at the weekend, when Goteborg were comfortably beaten at home by the league leaders Malmo, a game they lost 3-0. They lost to Gais before that, and their other defeat in this period was a 1-0 home defeat against Hacken. The win came as a surprise, and was a good one too, they won 3-0 away from home against Brommapojkarna.
Match PredictionI think this will be tight, but I believe there is a bit more to come from Sirius. They've not been great, but are in slightly better form than Goteborg, so with that in mind, I will be taking the home team to build on their weekend success, and win again here.
