Places in the Europa Conference League knockout phase are up for grabs this week, via the playoff round, and we've got an evenly matched two teams going head to head here. Ludogorets are the hosts in this one, they take on Servette and the game is evenly poised after these two played out a 0-0 draw in the first leg.
Ludogorets Form GuideHome advantage is certainly going to help Ludogorets here, but if they want to win this game, they are going to have to play a lot better than they did in the first game. They actually played on Monday, so this will be their second game of the week, and they won that game, a 3-1 success over Cherno More.
That was at home, so no travelling like this one, but just three games between days does ask a tough question of Ludogorets. While they need to show more from an attacking point of view, they did look pretty comfortable in defence, and will look for a repeat there.
Servette Form GuideServette played fairly well last week, but they did it without really looking as though they would score. They had 23 shots, that's great, but only four of them went on target, and that is terrible. This is something they must improve on, make Ludogorets work this week, otherwise they are not going to have enough to win this game.
Servette scored twice on Sunday, they won 2-1 at home to Lugano. While they have to travel away from home here, they do get an extra day as recovery by playing on Sunday.
Match PredictionI think this game is going to be very tight and cagey, both sides look good defensively but neither have really shown too much in how they are capable of winning this. That's where Servette have shown a little more, but need to improve, and given the odds on offer here, I think they are the value. I am going to back Servette on the double chance market, to either win the game or it to be a draw after 90 minutes.
