We've got three game in Serie A on Saturday as part of a full fixtures list spread across the weekend. Sassuolo are at home in the final of those three games to kick off, and in need of points to help their relegation struggles at the moment, they host Torino, a side in mid table, but one going along nicely at the moment.
Sassuolo Form GuideA quick glance and Sassuolo begin the weekend in 15th position, a place you wouldn't automatically associate with the relegation battle, but they are right in it. With just 19 pints, there one point away from trouble, two of the bottom three clubs have 18, so it's feasable to think that Sassuolo could be in the bottom three by the end of this weekend, such is their position right now.
They come here on the back of three defeats in a row, all coming in the league. Last weekend, they lost 4-2 away at Bologna, and before that, lost 1-0 away at Monza and 3-0 away at Juventus. You'll not they were all away, so one positive is that they're back on home soil here.
Torino Form GuideHeading into the weekend, Torino are in 10th position, and going along nicely. They're four points off the top six, so have a chance, but there's some good sides ahead of them, making it a tough ask. Their league position has been aided by a good recent run, where they have been unbeaten in their last four games, and they've lost just one of their last nine.
Last weekend, it was a draw for Torino, and they'll be disappointed by that, as it came against the bottom club in Serie A, Salernitana. Before that, they won away from home against Cagliari, and have won at home against Napoli recently too, so there's plenty to like.
Match PredictionA big game for Sassuolo, but I don't fancy their chances here. Torino are a good side in this league, and arrive here in rock solid form, with just one loss from their last nine. I'll take Torino to get the three points on Saturday.
