Down at the bottom of the table in Serie A, this game is as big as it gets. On Sunday, in the first game of the day, we have Sassulo at home, currently in the relegation zone, and they welcome Cagliari, currently outside and one of the teams that Sassuolo are trying to chase down.

Before that, their big win over Inter Milan, though of course, Inter had a big championship celebration hangover, but that doesn't matter to Sassuolo, who need more points like those three they took in that game.
Cagliari Form GuideA draw or better here for Cagliari, and they'll know that Sassuolo can't catch them as we go into the final day. But of course, Empoli could, they're in the relegation zone and just one point behind Cagliari, so it's still all to play for with them, and points are needed from the final two games.
Cagliari have failed to win any of their last five games, but they've taken three points from draws in that period, to keep their heads above water for now. Those draws have been good, against Inter Milan, Juventus and Lecce, but a win would have seen them safe I think, even if not mathematically.
