Last weekend, they were impressive, beating Genoa 4-1 away from home, and equally as good the week before that, when they won 3-1 at home to Lazio, a side chasing the top six.
Sassuolo Form GuideSassuolo are in the relegation battle, but the positive news for them is that they start the weekend on the outside, with a very small gap. However, the pressure could be piled on them before they kick off, as Verona, one point below them, kick off a few hours before this game, and something for them would change the picture completely.
Sassuolo have failed to win any of their last four games in the league, with three defeats and a draw in that period, though the draw did come in their last game, which was seven days ago. That was a point at home to Torino in a 1-1 draw, but before that, they suffered defeats against Bologna, Monza and Juventus.
Match PredictionI like Atalanta and think they've played very well recently, recording big wins over teams who are better than Sassuolo. With that in mind, I will take Atalanta to win this one, and I'll back them on the Asian handicap -1.5 line for added value, as I see another strong win for them here.
