The UEFA Champions League returns to our lives once again this week as we enter the second half of the group stage. At this point, all 32 clubs are well aware of what their objectives are as they prepare for the final three-game stretch. Today, we’ll be taking a look at what is bound to be an electric clash between Borussia Dortmund and Newcastle United.

That has to do something to your confidence as a team, and we’d be surprised if it didn’t. In what proved to be an incredibly tight encounter, Borussia Dortmund defeated Newcastle 1-0 in the reverse fixture just a few weeks ago.

Eddie Howe is the man who has managed to guide them back here and we can’t imagine they’ll roll over, despite being in a perceived ‘group of death’. They’ve got an exciting squad, and it’s intriguing to think about how that’ll manifest in the UCL.
