We have four games of football from Serie A on Saturday, with two kicking off at the same time to start the action. This is one of those games, and the hosts are Udinese, a team right in the middle of the relegation battle at the moment, they welcome Monza for a game, a team going along nicely in the middle of the table.
Udinese Form GuideUdinese are outside of the relegation zone as we head into the weekend, though only on goal difference. They've done it by drawing a lot of games, remarkably, they've won just two out of 22 so far, but 12 draws has certainly helped their case. Two of the three teams below them have won four games, double the amount won by Udinese, to show the difference.
They come here on a run of four games without a win, and draws haven't helped them much in this instance, as they've lost three of those four games. The point came against Fiorentina, but they've lost to Lazio, AC Milan and most recently last weekend, a 2-0 away loss to Atalanta.
Monza Form GuideMonza are in the middle of the table right now, too far away from the top four to get involved there, and plenty safe enough away from the bottom three to be worried about that. It's a positive for them, even though it feels a little like they are in no mans land.
And they keep racking up the points, two wins, one draw and two defeats from their last five, they continue to hold their position nicely. They arrive on the back of a narrow win on Sunday, beating Sassuolo 1-0 and that came after two defeats, so it was nice to see them back on track.
Match PredictionMonza are going along nicely, and I think they can get something here. The quality they've shown is better than Udinese, and even when the home side have played well, it's been draws rather than wins for them. With all of that together, I will take Monza on the double chance market, covering them to win this game, or it to be a draw.
