The Championship continues this weekend, there's plenty to look at and talk about, with the most interesting certainly being the race for the playoffs, where there are many teams involved. Hull City are within touching distance, and they're in action this weekend, at home to Millwall, hoping for a win to further enhance their claims.
Hull City Form GuideHull have been inside the playoffs for a bit this year, and are in 8th, very close to them, just two points off Coventry, who are currently holding onto 6th place, the final playoff spot. Every point is going to matter, and home games will potentially decide things, Hull need to be strong on home soil.
Hull weren't in action last weekend, out of the cup and without a league game, so they've had chance to rest. And they come here on the back of a really good win in their last game, which came the week before and was a 1-0 away victory at Sunderland, before that, they were beaten in the FA Cup 3rd round and beaten against Norwich in the league.
Millwall Form GuideMillwall have turned a corner I think, but I'm still not 100% convinced and need to see a little more from them. But they've moved nicely away from the relegation zone, which was the short term aim for them, they're now 16th with 33 points, that puts them eight points clear of the relegation zone.
They've not won any of their last three games, most recently, they drew 1-1 at home to Preston, but before that it was three defeats. They were at 2-0 defeat away at QPR and a 3-1 home defeat to Middlesbrough. Millwall have a tough run now in the league, starting with this game.
Match PredictionA big game for both sides, and three important points at stake. They are going to Hull I think, a side aiming for the playoffs, and I think they'll take them. Millwall have improved, but this looks a tough task, I'll take Hull to win this.
