The Premier League is back once again this weekend as we get ready for the final set of February fixtures this season. English football’s top flight has been producing some incredible games all campaign long and as we look ahead to the next few months, we expect more of the same. Today, we’ll look at what should be an entertaining clash between Manchester United and Fulham.
Manchester United Form GuideManchester United supporters have spent the last decade experiencing brief moments of joy, but for the most part, their inconsistency has really hurt them on the pitch. Erik ten Hag is the latest manager to try and make a difference at Old Trafford, but there are still far more questions than answers for the Red Devils as we approach a critical few months for them.
United raced out to an early 2-0 lead on their trip to battle Luton last weekend but eventually, they were really made to work for it. The Hatters pulled one back and continued to push the Red Devils to the limit, with ten Hag’s men holding on for a slender victory.
Fulham Form GuideBetween fan protests and some questionable results in the league, the vibe isn’t particularly great at Fulham right now. The Cottagers certainly aren’t one of the favourites to go down, but we aren’t at the point where they can be ruled out either. There are question marks surrounding the ownership and if that doesn’t change soon, they could quickly begin to snowball.
Fulham have their fair share of issues but on the pitch, they’re still putting up a decent fight. Last Saturday, they played host to Aston Villa in a really entertaining back and forth clash. They did ultimately lose 2-1, but there were a lot of good lessons to take away from the game.
Match PredictionFulham are a tough team to play when they’re at their very best but on the flip side, United finally seem to be finding the kind of consistency they’ve been lacking for a long time. Therefore, we expect to see Manchester United come away with yet another home win.
