Georgia vs Luxembourg Prediction (21.03.2024)

We’ve arrived at the UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying playoffs as twelve nations attempt to make their way through to the big tournament this summer. These teams have put in a great deal of effort in order to get to this stage and with just two games separating them and glory, they’ll do everything in their power to get across the finish line. Today, we’ll be taking a look at the upcoming clash between Georgia and Luxembourg.

They haven’t always been known for their football prowess. With that being said, Georgia have been making some real progress across the last few years. They are no longer viewed as a nation that can be walked over and at one point, qualification for Euro 2020 seemed incredibly plausible. Now, it’s all about taking that positive energy into another really big campaign.

In terms of their group campaign, Georgia will be left feeling slightly disappointed. They finished 4th out of five countries in Group A, picking up eight points from their eight games with two wins, two draws and four losses.

Luxembourg is known as the nation with the most qualifying campaigns for the World Cup and Euros without ever actually reaching the final tournament. While many expect that trend to continue, there certainly seems to be a self belief in this particular squad that could do wonders for them. They’re looking stronger than they ever have, and you never know how far they could take it.

In terms of their group campaign, Luxembourg will be left feeling pretty elated. They finished 3rd out of six countries in Group J, picking up 17 points from their ten games with five wins, two draws and three losses.

This has the potential to be a really intriguing and exciting battle with both teams knowing this serves as a huge opportunity for them. It’s going to be back and forth but in terms of a final result, we can only see one team securing the victory, which is why we’re backing a Georgia win.
