We’re in the endgame now, ladies and gentlemen. The Premier League season is entering the final furlong with just a handful of games remaining for clubs up and down English football’s top tier. Whether it be the title race, the relegation battle or anything in between, there’s still a lot left to be determined. Today, we’ll be taking a look at the upcoming clash between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Luton Town.
Wolves Form GuideWolverhampton Wanderers are looking really good right now and Gary O’Neil deserves a lot of plaudits for what he’s been able to do at the club. When he came in, they were seen as one of the favourites to go down - but at this point, their focus is on the top half as opposed to the bottom three. Their cup dreams may be over, but there’s still something to fight for in the league.
Over the course of their last six games, Wolves have really struggled. They’ve picked up a point in draws with Burnley and Nottingham Forest, but they’ve also been handed defeats by Aston Villa, West Ham, Arsenal and, most recently, Bournemouth.
Luton Form GuideLuton Town fans are on cloud nine right now as they continue to enjoy life in the Premier League. When you put that alongside their success in the FA Cup, we’d say this is shaping up to be a pretty fun season for the Hatters. The priority, of course, is staying in the top flight, and we’d say they are looking good in that quest as we head into the final stretch of the season.
Luton’s North London defeats against Tottenham and Arsenal were followed by a nice 2-1 win at home to Bournemouth. Since then, they’ve lost 5-1 in back to back games, falling to losses against Manchester City and Brentford.
Match PredictionLuton are the ones who really need a result here whereas Wolves, it feels like, are already on the beach - and that’s us being honest. We think this is going to be a really fun, intense game at Molineux, and in terms of an official result, we’re going to shoot for over 2.5 goals scored.
