As we return to action from the international break, Leicester are at the top of the Championship table, although only on goal difference, after losing two games before the break. They welcome Watford to the King Power Stadium on Saturday, with the away side in mid table and coming here on a nice unbeaten run.
Leicester Form GuideWith just three losses so far this season, Leicester have been dominant in the Championship, although two of those three losses have come in their last two games. They are still at the top of the table, but only on goal difference, tied with second placed Ipswich, however they do still have a nice gap before third, Leeds, who are eight points back.
Leeds were one of the teams to get a win over Leicester before the break, going away and beating the leaders 1-0. After that, Leicester went away themselves to Middlesbrough, and lost that game 1-0, so there is a crack or two in this line up, but even so, 13 wins from 16 games is an incredible record, one that Leicester should be very proud of.
Watford Form GuideI had no real grip on Watford before the start of the season, and they took time to get going. New boss Valerian Ismael does appear to be finally getting to grips with his side now though, and that's taken them to 13th in the table, so in the middle of the pack, and with 21 points on the board.
To make things better, Watford are now on a six game unbeaten run, where they have won three and drawn three. The best of those, was also the most recent, they won 5-0 at home to struggling Rotherham, a real confidence boost that they will be looking to build off, although this is a different test all together.
Match PredictionI respect what Watford are doing, in particular recently, but after two losses, the international break came at the right time for Leicester. I expect they will have taken a review, regrouped, and I fancy them to come here and bounce back with a win, so it's Leicester to take the three points for me.
