A huge game, the first of two big games to end Sunday's action in Serie A, with Roma heading to face Lazio as two top names from Italy collide.

Lazio head into the weekend in 3rd position in Serie A, but things are extremely close from second downwards, and this game itself could really shake things up. They have 49 points on the board, one behind Inter Milan in second and just two above their opponents here, Roma, who are down in 5th position.

Last weekend, Lazio weren't able to get a win on the board as they were held by Bologna 0-0 away from home. Before that, they had won three in a row, with victories over Napoli, Sampdoria and Salernitana. All three came with a clean sheet, so they come here on the back of four games without conceding a goal.

It's fair to say that Roma's league position would be much better if they could just be consistent. They've struggled all season with that, come here in 5th position, one point off AC Milan in the race for the top four. They've won just three of their last six, with two defeats in that period, can play well, but need to show that more often.

Last weekend, Roma were beaten, losing a thriller 4-3 against Sassuolo. Before that, they did get a win on the board, beating Juventus 1-0 with a very good performance, but again with inconsistency in their play, were beaten the weekend before that 2-1 by Cremonese, who at the time were bottom of the league picking up their first win of the season.

A big game at the top, two teams who need points for their top four hopes and it is Lazio who we are picking for the win. They are the team to trust out of these two, and are going great with no goals conceded in their last four games, so we'll side with Lazio here.
