Cremonese vs Inter Prediction (28.01.2023)

Inter Milan are back in action in Serie A on Saturday, when they travel to face the bottom club Cremonese.

We are 19 games into the Serie A season, and Cremonese are still yet to win a game. They have eight points, from eight draws, and come here on the back of a draw last week, which came against Bologna in a game that finished 1-1.

Prior to that, they had lost four games in a row in the league, and begin this weekend nine points behind safety. A win would really turn things around and give them something to hold onto, but this game may not be the one where they can do that.

Inter Milan are in the title race, for now, but their recent results have certainly not done them any favours. In their last three games, they've picked up just four points, a run that may have already left them with too much to do, if they want to catch Napoli.

Inter were shocked at home last weekend, losing 1-0 at home to Empoli, and they will be looking to bounce back in big style here. A game against the team that are yet to win this season certainly gives them the chance to do so.

Inter come into this game without Stefan de Vrij and now on top of that, have to deal with Nicolo Barella being out due to him picking up too many bookings.

Cremonese are also without a midfielder due to suspension as Charles Pickel will miss this game.

Inter Milan desperately need a win here, and their chances look good. Yes, they've not been at their best recently, but face a team that haven't won in the league all season, this is the perfect game for them to bounce back, and that is what I'm backing them to do.
