Fiorentina vs Frosinone Prediction (11.02.2024)

The Serie A weekend is spread across four days, and the biggest day of competition comes on Sunday. Kicking us off early, we have Fiorentina at home and they are hosting Frosinone, with both teams coming here on the back of a pretty poor run, and they'll be looking to turn things around.

Overall, I've been really happy with what Fiorentina have done this season, but just recently, they've not been on the top of their game, and that's led to a slip down the table. They begin the weekend in 8th on 34 points, two points off the top six and six points off the top four.

But they are without a win from their last four league games, and that's a worry right now. To make matters worse, three of the four games have been against sides at the bottom. That includes their game last weekend, where they lost 3-2 against Lecce.

Frosinone are another side down towards the bottom of the table, away from the relegation zone at the moment, but that may not be the case for much longer. They begin the weekend in 14th position, and that puts them five points clear of the bottom three right now, which of course could all change in just a couple of weeks.

Frosinone have won just one of their last five games, and come here on the back of a defeat last weekend. They lost 3-2 away at AC Milan, before that, they drew 1-1 away at Verona, a side below them in the league. The one win they've recorded was a 3-1 success over Cagliari.

Fiorentina are not playing well at the moment, but I am going to back them to win here. I think they've got enough to get the win over Frosinone, and get back on track in their quest for the top six.
