Fortaleza EC vs America Mineiro Prediction (08.10.2023)

The home team heads into this clash on the back of a five-game unbeaten run in all competitions. Last time out, Juan Vojvoda’s team recorded a 2-0 win over Corinthians in the Copa Sudamericana.

Fortaleza’s results in Serie A have also been strong lately, as they have won five of their last seven games in the Brazilian top flight while suffering just one defeat in the poor run.

The Ceara outfit are unbeaten in their previous four home games in Serie A, having recorded three wins and a draw. One of the main reasons for their strong home form is Fortaleza’s attacking prowess, as they have scored at least two goals in three of their previous four matches.

The visitors difficult campaign continued in recent weeks as they head into this clash on the back of a four-game winless run in all competitions after a 1-1 draw at Cruzeiro last time out in Serie A.

The bet I am backing is the home win, simply because Fortaleza are in good form, and America Mineiro has struggled for results all season.
