Rizespor gained promotion to the Super Lig last season and since then, they haven’t looked back. They have been on an absolute tear to the point where they now reside in the top five of the league, and we wouldn’t be at all surprised to see them stay there. They’ve found a system that works for them, and it certainly makes for fun viewing for the rest of us.
One goal from Rey Manaj in the 30th minute was all it took as Sivasspor grabbed a 1-0 win over Rizespor that, in truth, they didn’t really deserve.
Fenerbahce Form Guide
Fenerbahce are still recognised as one of the biggest club in Turkey, but the point must be made that it’s been a long time since they lifted the Super Lig title up high. While we’re only half way through the current season, it already seems like they’re going to be tussling it out with Galatasaray for that honour - as has been the case so often throughout their history.
Fenerbahce slipped up in this incredible title scrap as they were held to a 2-2 draw by a determined and incredibly impressive Alanyaspor side.
Match Prediction
Rizespor are a solid team and on their own turf, they’re going to create a really strong atmosphere for the visitors to deal with. Alas, we do think Fenerbahce have enough to just about edge past them, which is why we’re picking them to win the game.
