1.49Everton to win10
We’re in the endgame now, ladies and gentlemen. The Premier League season is entering the final furlong with just a handful of games remaining for clubs up and down English football’s top tier. Whether it be the title race, the relegation battle or anything in between, there’s still a lot left to be
determined. Today, we’ll be taking a look at the upcoming clash between Everton and Sheffield United.
Everton Form Guide
Everton Football Club are safe in the Premier League for another year, and the Toffees’ faithful can breathe a sigh of relief. Sean Dyche has done a solid job during his time in charge at Goodison Park and now, it’s time to look ahead to the future. Nobody really knows what that looks like for them outside of a brand new stadium, but the pieces are slowly starting to fall into place.
Everton knew that Luton would throw everything at them in their outing last Friday and that’s exactly what happened - but Dyche’s men stood their ground. It was a really competitive game at the bottom of the table but in the end, they were able to secure a 1-1 draw.
Sheffield United Form Guide
Sheffield United’s relegation back to the Championship has been confirmed, as many expected. Unfortunately, they’re set to go down as one of the worst teams in the history of the Premier League - but Chris Wilder knew this was a possibility. At this point, it’ll be interesting to see how they’re able to bounce back, and what they can produce between now and the end of the season.
Sheffield United started really well against Nottingham Forest but simply couldn’t sustain it, with Nuno’s men not taking too long to really take over the game and impose their will. United wound up going down to ten and from there, it was signed, sealed and delivered in a 3-1 win for Forest.
Match Prediction
Sheffield United are on the beach and while we’d like to think they’re going to put in a good performance or two in the next couple of weeks, we just can’t see it. The hosts aren’t exactly too motivated right now either, but they’re good enough to win this, which is why we’re backing an Everton win.
