The win was a 1-0 success over Lecce, which was great to stop the losing run, and their draw, which was last weekend, may be an even better result as it came against AC Milan.
All of that has left Empoli in 14th place in the Serie A standings with 32 points, meaning they are 10 clear of the relegation zone going into this weekend. They should be safe, barring something special from the teams below them, but picking up another three points here would certainly help their cause.
Match PredictionA big game for both teams, Cremonese have start getting wins if they want to survive in Serie A, but I don't think they'll get that here. After a poor run, Empoli have been far better over the past two weeks, and they are the pick to get a win here, pretty much cementing their position in Serie A for another season.
