There are five games in Serie A this Sunday, and we've got them all covered. The second game to kick off is a real relegation battle, a big three points are at stake, with Udinese the home team and they host Cagliari, who are in desperate need of three points.
Udinese Form GuideUdinese are on the outside of the relegation zone, and that comes despite them winning just three games so far out of 24. 13 draws have helped them on their way, they have 22 points, which puts them three clear of Verona, the team in 18th who are closest to escaping the drop zone.
Although they've only won three games, one of those was their most recent game, as they picked up a big three points, beating Juventus 1-0 away from home, a big shock in Italy. Before that, they took a point in a home 0-0 draw with Monza, to keep themselves ahead of the bottom three.
Cagliari Form GuideCagliari have 18 points so far, putting them in 19th position and inside the bottom three. Four away from their hosts here Udinese, they are two points away from Sassuolo in 17th, the team they are chasing down in a bid to stay safe and retain their Serie A status for next season.
But it's not been great recently for Cagliari and they come here on the back of four defeats in a row. Frosinone, Torino, Roma and Lazio are the team that have all beaten Cagliari recently, with the most recent being a home loss against Lazio, a game that ended 3-1 to the visiting team.
Match PredictionA big game at the bottom, Cagliari desperately need the points to get out of danger, but I don't think they'll take them here, I think Udinese can get the win. Fresh off a victory last weekend, they can build on that, and win again here, a real boost to kick them clear of the relegation zone.
