The festive period continues as we approach the final few days of 2023. The Premier League has never been more exciting as all 20 clubs prepare for a big push into the new year. There are plenty of fixtures to work through this week and today, we’re going to take a look at what should be a pretty interesting clash between West Ham United and Brighton & Hove Albion.

The Hammers are flying at the moment, but at the elite level, it can be so easy to slip back down if you don’t keep your guard up.
After dropping a 5-0 loss to Fulham, West Ham managed to beat Freiburg and Wolves in the space of just three days. From there, they lost 5-1 to Liverpool in the cup, but bounced straight back with huge 2-0 wins over Manchester United and Arsenal.
Brighton Form GuideWhile it must be said that Brighton have achieved some incredible things across the last twelve months, it’s also important to manage expectations from time to time. This is their first season managing both domestic football and Europe in unison with one another, and although they could end up smashing it out of the park, there’s definitely still room for growth here.
Brighton beat Brentford before a disappointing 1-1 draw with Burnley, which they followed up with a win over Marseille. They did lose to Arsenal and draw 1-1 with Crystal Palace, but the always-unpredictable Seagulls responded by defeating Tottenham 4-2.
Match PredictionIf there’s one thing we know to expect in a game between two in-form teams, it’s chaos. West Ham and Brighton are both great going forward but when it comes to the physicality side of the game, the Hammers have the edge. Either way, we think the most likely outcome is over 2.5 goals scored.
