For the first time since being promoted to the Premier League, it does feel as if there’s a bit of panic in the air at Brentford. As a club, they’re still being run very well, and they aren’t in any immediate danger when it comes to the relegation battle. At the same time, it only takes one bad run of form to lead you down the wrong path, and the Bees have shown some real weaknesses lately.
After three bad outings against Wolves earlier in the season, Brentford finally got things working against the boys from the Black Country last weekend. They looked calm, confident and composed as they left Molineux with a comfortable 2-0 win.

Well, it’s official: Jurgen Klopp will leave Liverpool at the end of the season. It’s a tough pill for their fans to swallow but as we look ahead to the next few months, it certainly seems as if there’s a chance for the German to go out in style. They are competing on four fronts right now, and at the moment, they’re leading the charge in the Premier League title race.
Liverpool certainly had to face adversity in their clash with Burnley but as they’ve done so many times in the past, they were able to overcome it. They beat the Clarets 3-1, and they did so in a way that kept their championship hopes alive and well.
Match Prediction
Brentford have certainly shown improvements but we don’t think it’s going to be enough to prevent them from slipping to a disappointing result in this one. The Reds, meanwhile, are on a real mission, with our official prediction being a Liverpool win.
