Udinese vs Spezia Prediction (26.02.2023)

There are four games in Serie A on Sunday to look forward to, and one of those is this clash that features Udinese hosting Spezia.

Udinese are not in good form at the moment, as they continue to search for a spark that restarts their season. They were excellent at the start back in August and September, something that has seen them manage to stay in 10th, despite not playing well recently. In the league, they've won just one of their last 14.

Last weekend, it was defeat for Udinese, losing 3-1 away at second placed Inter Milan. Before that they did pick up a draw, with a 2-2 result at home to Sassuolo. Their last win came back in January, when they had a 1-0 away win against Sampdoria. However, they will feel this gives them a chance to get another win.

Spezia are in relegation trouble, they head into the weekend outside of the relegation places, but after the games take place, they could find themselves in it. They are two points safe at the moment, but Verona behind them are chasing hard, and are in better recent form.

Spezia have lost three of their most recent four games, with one draw alongside those. The issue for them has been goal scoring, in the three defeats they have suffered, they've also failed to score. The draw was a 2-2 game with Empoli so they did score in that, but overall, goals have been a big worry for the team.

A game between two teams who are not in good form at the moment. However, Udinese have shown a little more recently, and they've shown far more earlier in the season, and for that reason, we are giving the edge to them here, and backing them to win this game.
