We’re back with the final international break of 2023 as we continue down the road to UEFA Euro 2024. It’s safe to say that things are really starting to heat up in pretty much every group as nations qualify and make their push to reach the playoffs. Today, we’ll be taking a look at what should be a
n intriguing battle between Bosnia & Herzegovina and Slovakia.
Bosnia Form Guide
Outside of a lone appearance at the World Cup in 2014, Bosnia & Herzegovina haven’t had much luck as an independent nation. They’ve fallen at the final hurdle in the playoffs in the last three Euros qualification campaigns, and it wouldn’t be shocking to see them go down the same path. Hopefully, for their own sake, they can begin to turn the tide in what is a really fun group.

Slovakia Form Guide
Slovakia haven’t exactly blown many teams away on the big stage, but they’re pretty consistent when it comes to raising an eyebrow with qualification. The last decade or so has been their best run for that and although they seem to be moving something of a transition period, they have the ability to spring a surprise - even though their inconsistency has harmed them time and time again.

Match Prediction
It certainly feels like this has the potential to be a really entertaining game but in equal measure, it could be quite scrappy in areas of the pitch. We’re anticipating a lot of action in the final third and for that reason, our prediction is going to be over 2.5 goals scored.
