Frosinone vs Inter Prediction (10.05.2024)

Frosinone are beginning to play really well, and giving survival a good go. In the only Serie A game on Friday night, they welcome the Champions Inter Milan, as Frosinone look to continue their recent unbeaten form. The home side are two points clear of the relegation zone with three games to play, and anything here, especially a win, would really put the pressure on those around them.

Frosinone spent a lot of time sliding down the table, and eventually went all the way into the relegation zone. But recently, we've seen some fight. I think there's a chance they stay up, something I wouldn't have said a few weeks back. It's not six games unbeaten for Frosinone, one win and five draws, putting points on the board at a crucial time.

They come here on the back of a draw last weekend, a 0-0 away tie with Empoli, and another good point. Before that, they picked up their win, a 3-0 home success over Salernitana, the team at the bottom of the league. It's eight points from the last six games, better than most sides around them, even though they've only won one.

Inter Milan have the title wrapped up, and who knows how they are going to play, or who will play for them, as we head into the final three games of the season. We saw that to full effect last weekend, when Inter were beaten by struggling Sassuolo 1-0. That was a massive result at the bottom of the table, opening up the debate on how Inter will approach these final few games.

That loss was just the second of the season for Inter, who prior to that, had won two in a row, one to clinch the title, and one game after that. The title clincher was a 2-1 win over AC Milan, while after that they won 2-0 at home to Torino, their celebratory game.

Of course, if we're talking about who is the best team here, then Inter are definitely that. But in terms of who wants this more, who has the desire to win, and the desperate nature of their position, I think Frosinone have a chance here.
