Today, we’ll be looking at an encounter in the round of 16 stage as Queretaro and New England Revolution prepare to collide.

They aren’t exactly world beaters and they have a pretty average to bad season last time out, but they’ve looked solid in this competition - and they have the kind of youth and spirit that should guide them towards good things in the weeks and months ahead.
It was a case of one win, and one loss for Queretaro in Group L as they fell short against Philadelphia but overcame Tijuana. Then, in the round of 32, they surprised many by overcoming Pumas UNAM 1-0.
New England Form GuideNew England Revolution has been threatening to make a major leap up through the ranks of the MLS for a while now after going through a long period of mediocrity. They finally look ready to break out and find their own identity, but the problem is that it’s still pretty competitive in the East. They’ve got some solid young talent, though, and that could be clutch for them in the post-season - which is where they’re heading.
New England only just finished behind the Red Bulls in the group stage, but did manage to see off the challenge of San Luis fairly emphatically. In the knockouts, they played out a 2-2 thriller with Atlas before earning an insane 8-7 penalty shootout win.
Match PredictionQueretaro have been a really fun team to watch up to this point in the tournament and we believe they’re going to take New England all the way in this game.
