Sheffield United fans know that they are the favourites for the drop and in a lot of ways, it feels like they don’t have much to lose because of that. Chris Wilder will do everything in his power to keep them in the top flight but they need a big shift in momentum in the next couple of months. Whether or not they can make that change, though, remains to be seen.

United knew that a visit to take on Luton would serve as the perfect opportunity for them to get some points on the board. That’s exactly what they did, racing out to a 3-1 victory that gives them a little extra slice of hope ahead of a chaotic few weeks.

Brighton & Hove Albion are the kind of club that can beat anyone in the league on their day - such is the successful nature of their recruiting strategy in the last few years. They’re also going pretty well in both the FA Cup and Europa League, and while they’ve had a few hiccups here and there, there’s a lot of positive energy flowing through the club right now.

Brighton can blow hot and cold, and in their clash with Tottenham, they certainly didn’t do themselves any favours in the European hunt. They slipped to a late 2-1 loss in North London, leaving some to wonder how it’ll impact their confidence.

Sheffield United need to throw caution to the wind if they want any hope of surviving in the Premier League for another season. The visitors, meanwhile, need to get back to their fast and fluid style of play - and we believe they will with our prediction being a Brighton win.
