Mainz are expected to be without Marlon Mustapha through injury, while Robin Zentner, Jonathan Burkardt and Delano Burgzorg are also injury doubts.

Michael Esser and Cristian Gamboa are ruled out for Bochum due to injuries. Meanwhile, Lys Mousset, Ivan Ordets, Saidy Janko and Konstantinos Stafylidis are also injury doubts.
