With six games to go in the season, you can argue that every game is big, but this one may well be as big as it gets. QPR and Sheffield Wednesday take each other on, QPR on the outside of the relegation zone and Wednesday inside.
QPR Form GuideJust one loss in their last five games, QPR have kicked nicely clear and given themselves an advantage in the relegation battle. They have 46 points, making them six clear of the drop zone, so can afford a little slip up, without worrying too much.
Having said that, a win here would pretty much guarantee their safety. They come here on the back of winning their last two games, the most recent a 1-0 away success at Swansea. Before that, they won 2-1 at home to Birmingham.
Sheffield Wednesday Form GuideI had a strong belief that Sheffield Wednesday would get out of trouble just a few weeks ago, but since then they have gone four games without a win. That's left them in the relegation zone, but they're still only two points from safety, so it's certainly not a disaster.
They've taken just one point from those four games, a draw with Swansea giving them that. They lost to Middlesbrough 2-0 since then, and before that draw, lost 6-0 at Ipswich and 2-0 at home to Leeds.
Match PredictionA huge game, three big points at stake, and I am backing QPR to take them. They've taken a step forward with their form in recent weeks, are going along nicely, and will know a win here is as good as seeing them safe for the season, so I will side with them to win this.
