We've got a huge game in the Championship on Friday as Millwall host Luton, with the clubs currently occupying fourth and fifth positions in the standings, and trying to confirm their positions in the playoffs.
Millwall Form GuideMillwall have been very consistent all season long, and fully deserve their position in the league, which is fifth as we come into the games on Friday. They've got 61 points, and with that, a four point cushion on those who are outside of the playoffs chasing them down, so will still be in a playoff spot after this game, regardless of what happens elsewhere.
They do come here on the back of two games without a win though. Last weekend, they drew 0-0 away at West Brom, a decent point, but before that, it was much worse. They were beaten 1-0 by struggling Huddersfield in that game, disappointing and it also means they are now two games without a goal.
Luton Form GuideLuton may have surprised some with their position right now, but after reaching the playoffs last season, they've gone with the same tried and tested formula this time around, and once again it's paying dividends. They are in fourth position, one ahead of Millwall, but crucially, six points ahead, which means they are 10 ahead of those who are outside of the playoffs. Failing to make those now, would be seen as a huge disappointment.
Last weekend, Luton had a huge 2-0 win over big rivals Watford, a game that means a lot to the fans, and Luton certainly delivered for theirs. They've won four and drawn one of their last five games, including a great away win at Sheffield United, and a big away point at Sunderland.
Match PredictionA big game, and one where we are siding with Luton. They arrive in slightly better form, and appear to have greater promotion claims than Millwall, so it's a Luton win for us on Friday.
