It serves as one of the most intriguing top flights in all of football and as we look ahead to the second half of the campaign, there’s still a lot to get excited about at both ends of the table. Istanbulspor were 2-0 down at the hands of Adana Demirspor and it seemed as if another defeat, and another step towards the drop, was inevitable. Instead, two goals in the last ten minutes of the game earned the visitors an absolutely massive point.
Konyaspor Form GuideThe beautiful city of Konya has been home to Konyaspor for many years now and last season, an 8th place finish showcased what many fans already knew - Konyaspor were and are a team to watch. Unfortunately, this season has been a little bit more hit and miss, and they need a couple of consistent results in order to start pushing away from the relegation picture.
Konyaspor knew they’d be fighting an uphill battle when they went to take on Fenerbahce, but few could’ve expected it would go quite as badly as it did. They came up on the wrong end of a 7-1 battering as they head back to the drawing board.
Match PredictionKonyaspor will want to be a bit more conservative here whereas Istanbulspor just want to get as many points on the board as they possibly can. It’s going to be an intriguing clash of styles but if pushed for a prediction, we feel like it’ll end in a draw.
