Back at Euro 2021, Finland finally made an appearance in the competition they’d never appeared in before. They got a win on the board, showcased some of their nation’s strengths on the pitch, and generally had a really nice flow to their game. Now, though, they need to try and prove it wasn’t a one-off, and they need to really make the most of their big impact players.
In their one and only outing in the international break thus far, Finland fell to a 4-1 defeat against Wales as their European hopes crumbled in their playoff semi final.
Estonia Form Guide
Estonia serve as one of Europe’s big ‘underdog’ nations, as they’ve never qualified for a major tournament. Still, that doesn’t mean they haven’t had their moments in qualifying, and it certainly doesn’t mean they can’t have some joy in the future. They are an exciting, unpredictable team to watch when they want to be, and it’s just a case of finding a system that keeps them consistent.
In their one and only outing in the international break thus far, Estonia feel to a 5-1 defeat against Poland as their European hopes crumbled in their playoff semi final.
Match Prediction
Both of these teams will have to sit and think about what’s next for them after their failure to qualify for the Euros - but that doesn’t mean they won’t put in an admirable performance here. In terms of an official prediction, we’re going to back the stronger of the two sides and say Finland will pick up the win.
