Manchester City will attempt to keep their Premier League title push going strong when they take on Leicester City this weekend.
Manchester City Form GuideIf there’s one thing you don’t want to do, it’s give Manchester City a reason to be motivated. The boys from the Etihad are hungry for another Premier League crowning and in addition to that, there’s also reason to believe they could go on and win the treble via the FA Cup and Champions League. It’s a good time, and a stressful time, to be Pep Guardiola.
City have won their last nine games in all competitions and if that isn’t terrifying, we don’t know what is. Since mid-March alone, they’ve been able to see off the challenge of the following clubs: Crystal Palace, RB Leipzig, Burnley, Liverpool, Southampton and Bayern Munich.
Leicester Form GuideThere are some serious concerns from Leicester City fans about how this season is going to end. They have the kind of squad that shouldn’t be anywhere near the relegation zone and yet, they’re now one of the favourites to go down. The Foxes decided to get rid of Brendan Rodgers given his run of form but in his place comes Dean Smith, which is a risk, to say the least.
A 1-1 draw with Brentford back on March 18th was pretty nice but apart from that, Leicester haven’t had much to sing and dance about. They’ve been beaten by Southampton, Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Aston Villa and Bournemouth in a matter of weeks.
Latest Team NewsThe only player out of action for City is Phil Foden, with Pep otherwise having a fully fit squad to choose from here.
Justin and Vestergaard are both out of action through injury for this one with Bertrand, Barnes and Tielemans all being fitness doubts.
Match PredictionThere’s certainly something to be said for the unpredictability of the Premier League but sometimes, when the obvious result is right in front of you, doing anything other than backing it feels strange. That’s why we’re going to put our weight behind a pretty emphatic Manchester City win.
