In the first days of August 2024, we received an interesting question in our “Ask the Experts” panel. The query comes from the user Sthembiso Tembe. Here is what the user asks:
“Good evening what is the most profitable strategy to win when using only the Asian handicap betting accumulators with maximum of 5 odds ( less than 5 matches)”
I, Kristiyan, would be honoured to answer this question.
First, what exactly is the Asian Handicap betting? For those of you who don’t understand this type of betting market, I suggest you read our Asian Handicap Guide to learn more. In short, the Asian handicap excludes the possibility of a draw, unlike the European handicap that you can also find on betting sites. Also, the Asian handicap lines offer half and quarter lines.
So, let’s get to Sthembiso Tembe’s exact question: “What is the most profitable strategy using only Asian handicap betting accumulators with a maximum of 5 events?”
One thing is true for sure – there is no 100% winning strategy, but we can follow some principles to make our strategy more profitable. The Asian handicap brings many possibilities because this betting market is versatile. Here there are my suggestions for successful AH bets:
- You can choose to give further advantage to the favourite in a single match by betting on AH 0. That way, if the match ends in a draw, your bet is void.
- Don’t avoid betting on quarter-lines, because they offer not only the chance of winning the odds, but also to get back half of your bet if your selection doesn’t go according to the plan.
- Give advantage to the underdog in a particular game with +2, 3 or more goals if the odds are good.
Of course, there is no way to point out exactly which is the most profitable strategy because you can use various bet types and methods. I completely agree with your suggestion for using a maximum of 5 events. ACCA bets with more selections are tough to win every time.
In addition, I can make another suggestion for using my 3 x 3 betting strategy. What does it mean?
Every time you place bets in a busy schedule with a lot of options, you can follow this strategy of making 3 separate bets with odds of at least 3.00 per each with the same amount, for example, $10. That way, you will have, for example:
- First bet for $10 on odds of 3.00
- Second bet of $10 on odds of 3.10
- Third bet of $10 on odds of 3.00
Your total bet is $30, and your first goal is to win at least one of the bets because that way, you will secure the amount you’ve bet. Every other successful bet will make a profit for you.
Using this strategy with Asian Handicap accumulators is a great idea. I wish you luck, and remember to play responsibly!
