Is there an Android app for Bovada Casino?

  • bovada casino android app all games
  • bovada casino ios app table games
  • bovada casino android app live dealer

The Bovada mobile casino does not come with a dedicated app for Android users. In fact, no downloaded is needed at all.

To access the app, all you need to do is head to the casino via your smartphone’s browser, and you will be redirected to the Android version of their casino.

Many people question whether the casino lacks for not having a dedicated app. Still, for us, it doesn’t make a huge amount of difference. You still get access to a good range of games, and you’re still getting all the features that you’d enjoy from a dedicated Bovada app.

Is there an iOS app of Bovada Casino?

  • bovada casino ios app menu
  • bovada casino ios app specialty games
  • bovada casino ios app blackjack

Like Android, there is no dedicated Bovada iOS app either. Access for iOS users is gained simply by visiting the site via your smartphone browser.

What we will add at this point is that there are several apps in the App Store that have the Bovada name in its title. We can confirm that these have nothing do with the Bovada brand so need to be avoided.

Bovada Casino Mobile Site Version

Bovada gets off to a great start with their mobile casino, landing you on what is more of a HUB page than anything else. Here you can get a quick look at the featured games on site that change daily and also a little more info about the casino and the games on offer.

You’re going to access two different menus from the home page, with one located at the top and the other at the bottom.

The top menu allows you to access things like account information, languages and other Bovada products, such as sports, poker and horse racing. The bottom menu is going to be used a lot as it’s here where you move between different games within the casino, such as slots and table games.

You’re also getting access to the “My Games” tab at the bottom menu, and it’s here where you can save and store games for easy access. If you use this when you are logged in, then it will be tagged to your account, meaning that each time you jump back into the casino, your favourite games are waiting.

As you move into the category of games that you want to play, you will see that at the top of the page is a menu system. This allows you to dial in your preferred games to reduce the volume a little.

For example, if you click on slots, you can sort between new games, i-Slots, Real-Series games, video slots, 3D slots, progressive jackpots, Rival Games and Five Reels. This same structure can be found amongst all game types and saves so much time from having to sort through the hundreds of casino games that you’ve got access to.

As an addition to this, these pages also include a really intuitive search function. If you know the name of the game you want to play, then this is going to save you a lot of time.

Most of the games within the mobile casino include a demo play version. However, you are going to need an account and being logged in to access these demo games.

Finally, the bottom menu bar also includes an “All Casino” option. Here you can see all the categories on offer at the casino and then get a better overview of things like bonuses, speciality games, live dealer and even new games that have just been added.

Mobile Casino Games

The casino benefits from using several high-quality game providers in the form of Rival Gaming, BTG and Betsoft. Between the three they can bring together about 150 games across their mobile platform.

In terms of the size of the casino, 150 games are not all that big compared with other brands. However, if you’re being realistic, this is more games that the majority of players will ever test in their lifetime, so for us, it’s not a huge issue.

Overall, the quality of the games is good. We’re familiar with all three of the outlined game developers above, and they work with some of the biggest online casinos in the game right now. The size of each of these brands means that rarely are they the main attraction, so it’s nice to see they get a lot of air time with Bovada.

Slots

As you can imagine, slots make up the majority of games, with over 120 to choose from. They’ve got a strong range to choose from, and if you’re used to the mainstream games, you’re going to get an excellent alternative with games you might not be familiar with.

There are several standout titles for us, including Atlantic Treasures, Fruit Frenzy and Jolly Roger’s Jackpot, to name just a few.

Even though the number of games on offer is lower than most mobile casinos, we thought that the quality was still really good.

Live Casino

The live casino section comes in a standalone area. All games are run by Bovada here, and they have arranged that includes blackjack, roulette, baccarat and Super 6.

One of the highlights about this section is that you can choose the dealer that you want to play with. It also clearly states any table limits for your bets as well what seats are available to sit in.

The only negative from this is that at peak times, games are very busy and so it’s sometimes hard to get a seat at the blackjack tables. They do try to accommodate this by putting on more tables, but if it’s really busy, you might be waiting to get lucky.

As a whole, the games are graphically sound, and the dealer experience is really good. They keep games moving so you’re still getting that human element, but with a hands per hour rate that is not too far from what it is on the Bovada desktop site. You do need to stay alert though as if you don’t act in time, your bet is forfeited.

Table Games

The selection of table games that you can access is a decent size. Still, it’s one of the smaller areas of the Bovada casino mobile. Outside of games such as roulette and blackjack, games include baccarat, Caribbean Poker, Tri Card Poker, Let Em Ride, Pai Gow, Roll the Dice and Teen Patti.

There is no denying that the quality of accessible games is good. They have been designed with mobile in mind, and they definitely benefit from that.

We would have to say that the collection is a little thin. Blackjack and roulette are covered well, but other games only have a single offering, and the competition generally has a better hold on their alternative table games.

Jackpot Games

There is a small range of jackpot games at Bovada that you can access. The majority are under the “Progressive” tab, but it’s worth noting that not all of them are progressive jackpots.

For us, the standout here was A Night with Cleo. The Egyptian themed slot comes with a 6x multiplier for all jackpot wins and is by far the biggest at the casino. The game not only looks great but has a brilliant soundtrack and to top it off, is one of the more user-friendly slots on the site, despite its relatively low RTP of 92.5%.

Jackpots range from multipliers of 1x up to 6x throughout the casino. It does lack from not being a part of any larger game developers to make these a little more lucrative, but what they do have are still more than worth winning.

Pros and Cons of the Mobile Version

The plus points of the Bovada mobile version is that it’s really easy to use and looks great. We’ve been able to test it on several devices including iOS, Android and tablets. It’s been hard to mark it down on any of these platforms.

Both menu systems that you can access work well. We liked the top one that allows you to access things like your account and sports. Whereas the bottom one allows you to dial in on the section of the casino that interests you the most.

It’s not a perfect platform; however, and you still don’t have the usability that you get from a dedicated Bovada mobile app. It’s easy to move about to parts of the casino that you don’t want to access, and some of the games failed to rotate to landscape mode for us, which means they are quite fiddly to play.

System Requirements

Given that there is no app to download, there are no system requirements for the mobile site. You can access it from any smartphone or tablet browser, and the HTML5 platform will then render the casino to your screen size.

The only issues you’re going to have here is if you are running outdated operating systems for things like flash or java. In terms of the age of your device, we’ve tested as low as an iPhone 6 with the casino performing just as it would on the newer models.

Mobile promotion

Bovada doesn’t run any mobile-specific promotions for mobile users. You can both register an account and claim the offers that you would have access too online. These can be cleared on the mobile site as well.

Deposit and Withdrawal Methods

The first thing that you need to note for banking is that you get 1 free deposit and then any deposit after that is charged at an eye-watering 5.9%. If you do want to play on Bovada, then get as much money in there as possible with your first deposit.

Fees for withdrawals aren’t an awful lot better. You get one free withdrawal every 90 days via cheque, but any withdrawal made within this period will be charged $100. Only withdrawals via Bitcoin or vouchers are free to use.

Apps Rating and Verdict

We have to be brutally honest and here and state that there are much better casino apps on the market right now than Bovada. The scoring may seem a little harsh, but there are major flaws that we need to address.

The first thing is the lack of an app at all. It’s not a deal-breaker by any means, but it’s not ideal. We also need to mention that they only have around 150 games to choose from, which is small.

However, the final bullet was the banking options (or lack of them) and the astronomical fees to get the money both in and out. To have to pay to get your own money is not good enough and to pay to play is even lower in terms of standards.

What is there is not terrible, but there are much better packages than the Bovada package in its current form.
