As usual, the team at Nostrabet went through everything and some of the stories definitely deserved more attention.

Campeon Gaming Is Launching a New Brand

Many leading iGaming operators have multiple gambling websites, especially when they want to expand into new regions. That’s why most people aren’t surprised that Campeon Gaming decided to launch a new brand.

According to the news, the company will partner with Dalasport and its Plug & Play iFrame sportsbook. The new brand will operate in regions that accept sports betting websites with an MGA license.

The new project should run on Camepon Gaming’s own modular system, so we expect to see an interesting product. Keep in mind that this is not the first time these two brands work together. Projects like Scarawins, 21.Red and FoggyBet exist because of these two companies.

The Gambling Revenue in Nevada Reached $1.44B in January 2025

Las Vegas, Nevada

Nevada is one of those places in the US where gambling has rich traditions and for a very good reason. Although we are already in March, the Nevada Gaming Control Board decided to release the gaming figures for January 2025, and the results are impressive.

Overall, gambling revenue in January reached $1.44B, 12.5% more than last year. As expected, slots contributed the most to this sum, around $915.3M, which is around 3.4% more than before.

Aside from slots, table, card, and counter games also exploded in popularity. In fact, the stats show a 33.2% increase and a result of around $532.1M. The highest-earning game in Nevada for January was baccarat because its revenue is up by a jaw-dropping 119.5% and reached $215.2M.

In terms of the revenue from the Las Vegas strip was $840.1M. This is 22.5% more than last year and around 58.4% of the state’s total result.

F1 Has an Official Betting Data Supplier

Formula 1 is one of the world’s most popular sports, and many people believe it has more than 750 million fans worldwide. It seems like many of the organizers behind it want to have a deeper connection with their fans because F1 announced a partnership deal with ALT Sports Data. The latter will be responsible for providing real-time analytics, odds, and predictive data for sports betting sites and fans.

Most people are probably not surprised by Formula 1’s decision because the sport is growing in popularity among online bettors. F1 wants to use this to its advantage and try to make the sport even more attractive.

Softswiss Partnered With Eduardo Barrichello

While we are on the topic of Formula 1, every fan knows the name Barrichello. Rubens Barrichello is one of F1’s legendary pilots, and he is currently the non-executive director of Latin America and Softswiss. It seems like the latter is happy with these results because it also decided to partner with Eduardo Barrichello for the upcoming 2025 FIA World Endurance Championship.

Eduardo will have the honor of driving the incredible Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 Evo in the 2025 WEC season. Following his collaboration with Softswiss, the company’s logo will be on the car, cap, and suit.

WEC is definitely an interesting race that attracts more and more fans. The 2025 season starts on February 28 and will consist of 8 events. Most people can’t wait for the last one because it is the 24 Hours of Le Mans, one of the most popular events in motorsports.

Coral Became the Betting Sponsor of Birmingham City

Sponsorship deals between sports betting companies and UK football clubs are nothing new. There are many ongoing deals in the UK right now, and the latest one involves Coral, a very popular iGaming operator. The site is looking to expand its services, which is why it has partnered with Birmingham City Football Club.

Based on our information, Coral will try to provide fans with memorable experiences, especially when the club scores a goal. Coral’s logo will also appear on the digital screens on the pitch, as well as the perimeter boards.

The GGR in Macau for February Reaches $2.46B

Macao, China

Macau is the hottest location in Asia for gamblers, especially those looking for a real casino experience. The place is becoming more popular every year, so it’s unsurprising that the gross gaming revenue for February 2025 reached $2.46B. This means it is 8.2% higher than in January.

One of the reasons why these stats are higher than in January is the Chinese New Year. Even though the results during the so-called “Golden Week” weren’t that impressive, the overall GGR is still higher.

Based on the most recent data, experts believe yearly GGR growth in 2025 will be between 4% and 9%. What’s interesting is that the so-called “mass-market gambling” (casual players) are responsible for close to 77% of the gambling revenue. This means that VIP players do not have such an important impact anymore.

BetBlocker Opens a Charity Division in the US

BetBlocker is one of the big names in problem gambling. The brand is available in several countries, and its most recent expansion took place in the US.

According to the news, BetBocker opened a non-profit organization in Delaware. The goal is to help American players who are struggling with gambling problems by giving them access to different tools. In the UK, BetBlocker gives bettors options that restrict their access to specific sites.

What’s also interesting is that BetBlocker will work closely with the Colorado Lottery. People who want to use this brand’s services can do so in English, Spanish, and even Chinese.

Betano Teamed Up with MGA Games

Betano partners with MGA games

Betano has recently done many things to increase its customers, such as forming a partnership with Push Gaming in Bulgaria. Speaking of partnerships, Betano decided to participate in another one, this time with MGA Games.

Following the deal, the iGaming company will offer 51 new games (most of which are slots). The deal will focus on the Portuguese and Belgian markets, but the interesting thing is that both regions will have different games. In Belgium, for example, fans should access around 23 new slots, whereas Portuguese clients will find 28.

Yggdrasil and Jelly Will Launch the Sugar Bomb Sequel

Yggdrasil is one of the most respected casino software brands in the industry, and it is behind many fan-favorite titles. One of them is the Super Bomb, which was created in collaboration with Jelly. It seems like the game was very successful because the two studios will work together to create Super Bomb 2 MultiBoost.

Based on the information we have, the new game will have a 6-slot reel that will also have a free spin round. The original title made its deputy in early 2024, so we expect to see this one very soon.

Tom Aspinall will be Aviator’s New Brand Ambassador

aviator game bet

Aviator from Spribe has to be one of the world’s most popular games among online casino fans. The title paved the way for many other “crash-style” games, but since it is one of the original options, it has fans from all over the world.

To ensure that Aviator remains the go-to crash game choice, Spribe, the company behind it, teamed up with Tom Aspinall. The latter is a UFC Heavyweight Champion whose job will be to promote the game to his fans worldwide. Currently, the champion has 12 wins and 0 losses and will join the likes of Merab Dvalishvili, Alex Pereira, and Johnny Walker as an Aviator ambassador.

It’s worth noting that this move comes following a broader marketing deal between the UFC and Spribe. Aspinall will have to take part in different campaigns whose goal will be to promote Aviator.

AG Communications Must Pay 1.4M GBP Following a UKGC’s Decision

AG Communications is a big name in the gambling business in the UK because it is behind more than 58 different websites. Sadly, the company made some errors because it failed to adhere to the anti-money laundering and social responsibility policies in the UK. This became clear following an investigation from the UKGC.

Based on the results, AG Communication will need to pay close to 1.4M GBP. According to the information, the Gambling Commission in the UK will use the money to find different “socially responsible causes”.
