Esports has become one of the hottest industries in the last couple of years, and it is gaining new fans among passionate and casual gamers. In addition to those who like video games, Esports also brings together millions of online gamblers from around the world.

At the time of writing this review, OG is the leading Esports club in terms of prize money won from tournaments. According to the statistics, OG has participated in 111 events so far and has 653 matches. The team is mostly famous for its Dota 2 roster and for winning The International twice in a row.
OG is not as old as some of the other names you will see on the list because it has been in the Esports industry since 2015. Nevertheless, it quickly became one of the leading names in Dota 2 and Esports as a whole. The team won countless big tournaments but it will definitely go down in history for winning The International 2018 and 2019.
With prize winnings that exceed $37M, OG is one of the most successful clubs in the world. An interesting fact is that the two TI victories alone gave the team more than $26M.
Team Liquid – $32M
Those who follow Esports definitely know the name Team Liquid because this organisation competes in many different sports. Based on the stats we have, its Dota 2 roster alone is responsible for around $32M in prize money, which is a jaw-dropping number even for today’s standard. Remember that Dota 2 is just one of the many games that Liquid competes in.
When it comes to Dota 2, Team Liquid has always been one of the best in the world. It’s no secret that the organization changed its roster several times over the years, but despite that, it continues to be among the leaders. In fact, as of May 2025, Liquid is also regarded as one of the best and has excellent chances to win all big events.
Team Liquid is one of the oldest Esports organizations in the world. It has been part of Dota 2 since 2012. Over time, the team has won The International twice and has countless other victories.
Team Spirit – $29M
Team Spirit is another Esports organization whose Dota 2 roster earned them millions of dollars. One of the best Esports teams in Eastern Europe, it has been a dominant force in the Dota 2 world for the last couple of years. Consequently, the team has won more than $29M after playing in 113 tournaments.
An intriguing fact about Team Spirit is that its Dota 2 team has been part of the professional scene since 2015. Also, Team Spirit won The International 2021, which was the Esports tournament with the highest prize pool in history. The tournament alone gave them more than $18M. Speaking of winning TI, Spirit also did it in 2023, but this time, the event “only” gave them $1.5M.
Keep in mind that Team Spirit competes in several other esports games, such as Counter-Strike. If you add the winnings from there, the organization will easily become one of the most successful in the world.
Evil Geniuses – $22M
EG is the fourth name on the list of the top Esports clubs in terms of prize money, and the organization is also represented by its Dota 2 roster. Unlike all of the other three teams, however, EG is not active in this game anymore. In fact, it has been a while since we’ve seen one of the best North American organizations in Dota 2. The last time was a few years ago, which explains why EG’s Dota 2 roster only took part in 80 tournaments, whereas the rest have over 110.
Even though EG has not been a part of the big scene for a few years, the numbers reveal that its Dota 2 organization won over $22M. The last time we saw EG in action was in 2023, but it’s safe to say that the team’s best results came between 2014 and 2017. In fact, its Dota 2 team won The International 2015 and after that came third at The International 2016. The same happened at TI 2018.
Team Secret – $18M
Team Secret is another legendary name in modern Esports, especially in Dota 2. Since this game offers the highest prize pools so far, it’s probably not surprising that TS’s Dota 2 roster is responsible for winning more than $18M.
Unlike Evil Geniuses, Team Secret hasn’t stopped competing, which is why it has taken part in more than 100 events. However, the squad has been struggling to find its place among the best and has been in the Tier 2 scene for some time now.
In terms of achievements, Team Secret had huge success between 2015-2019, but this is no longer the case. Over the years, the team won events like The Chongqing Major, DreamLeague Season 13, and more.
LGD Gaming – $18M
All of the Esports clubs mentioned so far were based in Europe (aside from EG, which is in North America). LGD Gaming, on the other hand, is one of China’s top-tier teams and has one of the best Dota 2 squads in the world. Even though the roster is no longer active, LGD won more than $18M after competing in 89 different tournaments.
It is sad that LGD Gaming is no longer active in Dota 2, but no one can deny the team’s impact on this game. The Chinese powerhouse always had one of the best Dota 2 rosters and dominated both domestically and internationally.
LGD’s last Dota 2 venture was in 2024 but the team’s peak came between 2017-2021. During those years, the Esports club won many big tournaments but it never lifted the Aegis.
An interesting fact about LGD is that the team was almost always the favourites, and bookies loved them. The odds for the team were significantly lower than those of its opponents, which often attracted those seeking to place “safer” bets.
AG Super Play – $17M
All of the Esports clubs have won the prize money from Dota 2. With that said, AG Super Play is different because this team focuses on Honor of Kings, one of the most popular games in China.
The stats reveal that AG Super Play’s Honor of Kings team has won more than $17M. What’s even more impressive is that the team only took part in 27 tournaments and they played 46 matches! This is almost 5 times less than some of the other Esports teams mentioned so far.
AG Super Play is in a league of its own compared to all other Honor of Kings teams. The team has been dominating in 2024 and 2025 and has won all big events so far, including the King Pro League Grand Finals 2024.
NewBee – $13M
After disrupting Dota 2 with Honor of Kings, we are back with another team that made a fortune playing thе MOBA. NewBee is a Chinese powerhouse that used to be one of the best in the world. Like LGD Gaming, however, the squad is no longer active.
The last time the organization had a roster in Dota 2 was in 2020. That’s why it is no surprise it only played in 49 tournaments. Despite these stats, NewBee’s Dota 2 squad has accumulated more than $13M so far.
While active, NewBee achieved impressive results, such as winning The International in 2014 and second place at TI 2017.
Tundra Esports – $13M
The last Esports club in terms of prize money that we want to include on this list is Tundra Esports. At the time of writing, Tundra has one of the best Dota 2 teams in the world and has competed in more than 74 tournaments. If we look at the stats, we can see that the Esports club has won $13M from this game alone.
Tundra’s dominance in late 2024 and 2025 make it one of the go-to options for online bettors. Users wishing to wager on Dota 2 must keep an eye on this roster because it is among the best. Keep in mind that we are yet to see to some of the most important Dota 2 competitions so far – The Esports World Cup 2025 and The International 2025.
