Serbia had chances to get level against England before slipping to a 1-0 defeat, but they went one better against Slovenia, striking late to snatch a point from the jaws of defeat. With Slovenia heading towards three points, Serbia had other ideas and snatched a leveller with 95 minutes on the clock when Jovic found the net. Thursday’s late show reminds us never to write off Serbia.
