A quick look at the FIFA World Cup schedule shows that the tournament will have 32 teams. Aside from Qatar, which received a direct invitation, the others had to go through qualifiers.

The 32 teams are divided into 8 groups of 4 teams each. The group phase will start on 20 November and end on 2 December. As for the knockout phase, Round 16 will last between 3-6 December, whereas the quarter-finals will take place on 9 and 10 December.

The semi-finals are on 13, and 14 December, the play-off for the third place is on 17 December, and the Grand Final is on 18 December. We will have the chance to watch 64 matches in total.
