The current title holders Napoli are in Serie A action on Sunday, and they travel away from home to take on Bologna. It's not been a vintage title defence so far from Napoli, leaving a few questions to answer, but there is no doubt in my mind that when they are at their best, they are the best team in this league.
Bologna Form GuideBologna haven't started the season too badly, with one win, one loss and two draws. The loss came first, so they actually arrive here on the back of a three game unbeaten run. But the questions remains hanging over them about whether they are quite clinical enough to go out there and kill games off to take home three points.
The win they've got so far was a 2-1 success over Cagliari, while the draws have come away from home against Juventus and Verona. The most recent one was a 0-0 draw with Verona, and again that highlights their issue with goals, and whether they can finish teams off.
Napoli Form GuideTitle winners last season, and title favourites to begin this season, it's not quite been plain sailing so far for Napoli though. They impressed in their first two games, beating Frosinone 3-1 away from home and then Sassuolo 2-0 at home. But recently, we've seen them dip, and it's something they need to get out of.
Their third game of the season saw them lose 2-1 at home to Lazio, their only defeat so far. They backed that up with a 2-2 draw away at Genoa, when they weren't at their best again. Although away from home, this game gives them a chance to break free from that, and they need to take it.
Match PredictionThere's a small question mark over Napoli right now, but I don't think it will last very long and I am going to back them to win this game. A good team performance here would be enough to beat Bologna and that's what I think they'll bring to the table on Sunday afternoon.
