The Premier League is back with a full set of weekend fixtures as we return to regularly scheduled programming to begin the month of February. There are so many things up in the air at both ends of the table but hopefully, in the weeks ahead, we’ll start to get a bit more clarity. Today, we’ll be taking a look at what should be a fun clash between Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest.
Bournemouth Form GuideIn the space of just a few months, Bournemouth have gone from one of the favourites for relegation to a team that looks pretty comfortable. They are midtable in the Premier League right now and although they aren’t out of the woods when it comes to avoiding the drop, the Cherries should certainly be feeling good about their prospects.
Bournemouth fans went to London with the hope they could get something against West Ham - and while they did come away with a 1-1 draw, the fact that they led for the majority of the game will leave a sour taste in the mouths of the masses.
Nottingham Forest Form GuideThere’s a lot of uncertainty surrounding Nottingham Forest right now. While there’s excitement stemming from Nuno Espirito Santo’s start as manager, they also have a possible points deduction hanging over their head. The priority is going to be staying in the Premier League, and they certainly have the quality necessary to end up in 17th or higher this season.
Nottingham Forest had to wait for their moment in the game against Arsenal and it seemed, at times, as if it simply wasn’t going to come. Alas, they scored in the 89th minute to draw the game back to 2-1, but weren’t quite able to grab the equaliser in a narrow defeat.
Match PredictionBournemouth and Nottingham Forest are interesting sides in their own right, and one thing we know them to be is explosive. They both have fun impact players and with that being said, we’re going to predict a really entertaining and unpredictable game with over 2.5 goals scored.
