Teams in the Championship are heading into their third game in just seven days, when they all play again on Friday night, in what is an incredibly busy period of football. Hull City and Blackburn Rovers have both lost their two games over the festive period so far, and will be looking to end that run here when they take each other on at the KC Stadium.

They are now in 7th, so just one place outside, and are only out on goal difference, behind Sunderland, but it is an incredibly tight race between a number of teams who are trying to get inside the top six, and stay there.
Their most recent loss was at home against Sunderland, the team that went above them thanks to picking up those three points on Tuesday. Before that, Hull lost 3-2 away at Bristol City last weekend, a disappointing defeat but they did win twice before that, beating Middlesbrough and Cardiff.
Blackburn Form GuideJust like Hull, Blackburn have lost their two festive games so far, and they also lost the game before that, so come here on a three game losing run. Blackburn are down in 15th after that which is disappointing, but when you look at the standing, they are only five points off the playoffs, so still within reach for certain.
But that depends on them turning things around, and it's something they need to do quickly. In a terrible result, Blackburn lost 3-0 away at Huddersfield on Tuesday night. Before that, they were beaten by Watford 2-1 and Southampton 4-0, and going back further, they've lost five and won one of their last six.
Match PredictionI am going to side with Hull to win this game. I don't think either are playing great right now, but Blackburn have been in bad form for much longer, they're struggling, and combined with Hull being at home, I am taking them to win this big game on Friday.
